Dr Arianna Ciula

Research Associate - Centre for Computing in the Humanities, King's College London

Arianna Ciula picture My primary responsibility within the XML team is supporting around 20 digital humanities research projects. My work deals with document analysis, basic and advanced training on text encoding and development of digital resources.
At present I teach a postgraduate course module on Material Culture (of the book: Digital Models) in the MA of Digital Humanities.

My research interests focus in general on the debate and creation of digital resources related to primary sources. I am interested in the connection between image-based research and textual technologies and, more specifically, in the integration of medieval palaeography and humanities computing.
